Please read carefully. This is a legally binding agreement.
By participating in any LIFLOW Retreats and ANANTA Living experience, event, or offering, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Voluntary Participation & Personal Responsibility
I understand that all retreat activities, including but not limited to yoga, meditation, breathwork, workshops, excursions, boat travel, meals, movement practices, ceremonies, and group experiences are voluntary.I choose to participate willingly and accept full responsibility for my physical, mental, emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being, as well as my personal belongings and travel arrangements before, during, and after the retreat.
I acknowledge that I am responsible for maintaining an open and self-aware mindset and for engaging in practices at my own pace and discretion.
2. Health Acknowledgment & Medical Responsibility
I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older and physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of participating in retreat activities.
I understand that LIFLOW Retreats does not provide medical or psychological treatment or diagnosis. Retreat practices are not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic care.
I accept full responsibility for any health conditions, injuries, allergies, dietary restrictions, medications, or medical needs I may have. I agree to consult a qualified medical professional if I have concerns about my ability to participate.
I acknowledge that participation may involve inherent risks including but not limited to physical injury, illness, allergic reactions, emotional release, travel incidents, property loss, permanent disability, or death.
3. Assumption of Risk
I knowingly and freely assume all risks associated with participation in retreat activities, travel within Greece, excursions, accommodations, boat trips, food consumption, and all related experiences.I accept full responsibility for any consequences resulting from my participation.
4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and discharge LIFLOW Retreats and ANANTA Living, its owners, directors, contractors, facilitators, teachers, assistants, partners, affiliates, accommodation providers, transportation providers, and service partners from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, injuries, liabilities, or expenses arising out of or connected with my participation in the retreat.
This includes, without limitation:personal injury, illness, allergic reactions, emotional distress, spiritual distress, psychological distress, property loss or theft, travel disruptions, accidents, or death — whether caused by negligence or otherwise, except where prohibited by law.
5. Food, Travel & Accommodation Responsibility
I acknowledge that meals, beverages, accommodations, transportation, excursions, and other services may be provided by independent third-party providers, local vendors, retreat partners, or contractors.
I understand that participation in travel, dining, accommodation stays, excursions, and retreat activities involves inherent risks that may include, but are not limited to, illness, injury, allergic reactions, foodborne illness, transportation delays, property loss, or unforeseen circumstances.
I accept full personal responsibility for my health, dietary needs, allergies, medical conditions, travel arrangements, personal safety, and personal property throughout the retreat.
I acknowledge and agree that:
I am solely responsible for communicating any dietary needs, allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions in advance
I remain fully responsible for managing my own food choices and consumption
Allergen-free or risk-free environments cannot be guaranteed
Participation in meals, excursions, transportation, and activities is voluntary and undertaken at my own discretion and risk
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and hold harmless LIFLOW Retreats, ANANTA Living, their owners, directors, partners, chefs, teachers, facilitators, contractors, staff, volunteers, and third-party providers from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, or expenses arising from:
allergic reactions, food sensitivities, or foodborne illness
travel disruptions, airline or ferry delays, cancellations, or missed connections
visa or entry issues, border restrictions, or denied entry
accommodation or transportation issues beyond organizer control
weather, natural events, or force majeure circumstances
loss, theft, or damage to personal property
injury, illness, or adverse outcomes occurring during travel to, from, or during the retreat
This release applies worldwide and is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted under the laws of applicable international jurisdictions.
Nothing in this agreement excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded; however, all other liability is expressly waived to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Participation in all retreat experiences is undertaken voluntarily and at my own risk.
6. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless LIFLOW Retreats, ANANTA Living, and their teams from any claims, legal actions, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from my participation, conduct, or breach of retreat agreements.
7. Media & Photography Release
I understand that photographs, videos, or recordings may be taken during the retreat for promotional and archival purposes.I grant LIFLOW Retreats and ANANTA Living the irrevocable right to use such media in marketing, social media, and future retreat promotion without compensation.
If I do not wish to appear in media, I will provide written notice to LIFLOW Retreats prior to the retreat start date. Reasonable efforts will be made to respect this request.
8. Cancellation or Modification by Organizer
I understand that LIFLOW Retreats and ANANTA Living reserves the right to cancel, modify, relocate, or reschedule the retreat due to facilitator illness, insufficient participant numbers, safety concerns, venue issues, force majeure events, or any circumstances beyond reasonable control.
In such cases, participants will be offered either:(a) transfer to a future retreat, or(b) retreat credit as outlined in the cancellation policy.
LIFLOW Retreats and ANANTA Living are not responsible for personal travel expenses or external costs incurred.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, together with applicable international legal principles.Any disputes arising in connection with participation shall be resolved in a competent jurisdiction selected by LIFLOW Retreats.
Any disputes arising from participation shall first be addressed in good faith between parties.
10. Agreement & Acknowledgment
By signing below, I confirm that:
• I am 18 years of age or older
• I have read and fully understood this waiver
• I have read and fully understood the Terms & Conditions for this Retreat
• I have read and fully understood the Cancelation Policy for this Retreat
• I understand it is legally binding
• I voluntarily agree to all terms
• I accept full responsibility for my participation
